Westminster Tour: Great Sights

We will firstly tour Westminster Abbey. If Parliament is in summer recess (mid July to early October) we can move around the Palace of Westminster understanding how the Mother of Parliaments works including both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Whatever time of year we will enjoy all there is to see including Big Ben; we will then move first up to Whitehall, the Banqueting House, Horse Guards Parade and then to Downing Street home of the Prime Minister, picking on the great and perhaps not so great Prime Ministers of the day, exchanging gossip on, say, how Palmerston died, which PM was shot dead in the House of Commons (yes, there was one), and the background to the Guy Fawkes plot and much more.

Saturday morning tours are also now available through the year for those wishing to concentrate on the Palace of Westmister.We will add a talk to this Tour as requested. Just ask.
